  • Farewell notes from our Guest Register
    February 2009
    • "Another wonderful vacation in paradise!  Our 5th year here and 9 days just is not enough so we have booked for 2 weeks next year.  Thank you for this wonderful Inn and all of the team.  John is a good addition to the staff.  Donna is fabulous with her constant smiles.  Thank you Marleine and Alain!  See you next year!" S.S.&R.S., Millington, Tennessee, USA (February 28, 2009)

    • "We had a fabulous time and the beaches are beautiful and the people at the Turtle Nest Inn have been very helpful and kind." M.B.&L.B., Liberty, West Virginia, USA (February 28, 2009)

    • "Here in rural Bodden Town, people watching is an art form.  The Inn is small enough and few people walk the beaches on this south side of Grand Cayman.  Therein lies the magic of Turtle Nest Inn.   One need not be on high alert to capture a pristine moment.  Snorkel one of the best reefs, read all the books you like, nap under the palms and still see the lovely horses strolling the beach, watch the Frigate birds soaring overhead and enjoy the first class treatment of the best staff on the island. Innkeepers Marleine and Alain have created our month long home each February for five years and each time have welcomed us as honored guests.  We've booked for 2010 already.  Do not miss lunch or dinner at the Seaside Paradise for true island fare.  Excellent!  See you in eleven months!." T.J.&S.J., Lexington Park, Maryland, USA (February 28, 2009)

    • "The Turtle Nest Inn has been a wonderful experience for us on our 25th anniversary. Very comfortable and certainly relaxing, with fine snorkeling. We loved the experiences, culture and cuisine of the entire island." G.P&C.P., Queens Creek, Arizona, USA (February 27, 2009)

    • "Great time! We will be back! Have some photos at night on the snorkel out to the reef -- lots of lobster out there."  M.M.&C.M., Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada (February 25, 2009)

    • "This was our first time visiting the Cayman Islands, and we really couldn't have chosen a better place to stay.  We loved the room, the beds, the convenient kitchenette, and especially the BBQ grill!  The snorkeling right out here on the beach was convenient and very nice! Merci beaucoup pour une semaine de vacances magnifique. (Thank you for a magnificent one-week vacation)." M.K., Boston, Massachusetts, USA (February 22, 2009)

    • "Our first visit to the Caribbean -- and we couldn't have made a better choice than TNI.  Everyone was incredibly cordial and took care of all our needs from restaurant recommendations to umbrellas, chairs etc., for the beach and little extras.  We hate to leave of course, but our time here was wonderful!!  P.S. We loved apartment 3." S.B.&B.B., Rockport, Massachusetts, USA (February 15, 2009)

    • "Thank you Turtle Nest Inn for a wonderful two week vacation on Grand Cayman.  Because we had friends living on 7 mile beach for the whole two weeks and we spent everyday visiting them or diving with Red Sail Sports out of the Westin we really didn't take full advantage of all the great facilities here at the Inn.  But from the moment we first contacted you online until checkout, every interaction with the hotel and it's wonderful staff was pleasant and easy.  We were especially grateful for the excellent restaurant recommendations and your help in making reservations (great breakfast at Over the Edge and memorable dinners at the Lighthouse).  Also for your assistance in our mid-stay room move.  Everyone was warm, helpful and welcoming but our vote  for favorite Turtle Nest Inn staffer goes to our little furry friend Vitamine!!!  Many thanks and Best Wishes." B.M.&E.M., Airdrie, Alberta, Canada (February 15, 2009)

    • "Dear TurtleNest...I have traveled the world and yet, this the only place where serenity meets the sea!  The ambience and friendly atmosphere is unparalleled!  I will come back every year to rediscover what life should be all about....Love Always." M.R.&D.R., Washington, DC, USA (February 15, 2009)

    • "Our children think we are a bit boring by returning to the same place 8 times, but when we think about all we want in a winter vacation place -- it's  all right here at Turtle Nest Inn.  On top of that there are countless small touches that we always appreciate.  We appreciate the quiet attentiveness of the staff, the comfort of the apartments...but most of all the endless ever surprising beauty of the reef out front.  Many thanks" B.P.&R.P., Apex, North Carolina, USA (February 13, 2009)

    • "I had the best sleep in years here at Turtle Nest Inn! Wonderful, clean accommodations. Everyone had wonderful suggestions for daily activities on the island. The water was glorious, the pool and general atmosphere excellent! We are planning our next trip!" R.M., Boston, Massachusetts, USA (February 11, 2009)

    • "A transformative stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and have nothing but good things to say about both Turtle Nest Inn and the island. I hope we can return next year." M.M., Boston, Massachusetts, USA (February 11, 2009)

    • "Many thanks to everyone at Turtle Nest for a wonderful week! We loved being here." D.P.&C.P., Chicago, Illinois, USA (February 8, 2009)

    • "This week at the 'Inn' was like being in a home away from home (that you never want to leave). We loved being here -- pets and all." C.M.&J.M., Greensboro, North Carolina, USA (February 8, 2009)

    • "This place is 'coming home' comfortable. It is small enough to feel like the owners & other guests are just friends. The rooms look like no one else has been in them before you. WOW is all I can say about this place." J.M.&G.M., Boyds, Maryland, USA (February 8, 2009)

    • "We had a fabulous time! The accommodations, weather, house pets, owners, and overall hospitality made our vacation great. We will certainly recommend Turtle Nest Inn and the island to friends & family. Thank you." W.S.&S.S., Mount Airy, Maryland, USA (February 8, 2009)

    • "This vacation far exceeded our expectations and believe me, the anticipation was very high! Truly a 2nd honeymoon, appreciated all the more because of our six (6) children, 12 years and under, back home having fun with cousins so we could be lovers & sunbathers -- the couple we started as -- to rejuvenate us for the parenting of teens just ahead! Your sweet pets, impeccable service, quiet & peaceful views, magical snorkeling, perfect advice for restaurants, and attention to amenities & details made this a paradise of our dreams. Thank you!!" A.G.&H.G., Utica, New York, USA (February 7, 2009)

    • "There are perhaps not enough superlatives to adequately describe how much we love being at Turtle Nest Inn. The snorkeling was fantastic, the inn staff friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned that we are satisfied. The ocean-facing apartment is ideal. Loved being near Meagre Pond, Mastic Trail and The Botanic Garden! It's our second visit and I hope there will be many more." B.E.&M.E., Quechee, Vermont, USA (February 4, 2009)

    • "This was a wonderful stay! The accommodations are great, the water is wonderful, and all the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful." H.C.&E.C., Highland Park, Illinois USA (February 1, 2009)

    • "Had a wonderful visit! Weather great! Great snorkeling in front of the resort (loved the barracuda, tarpon, and putter fish.) We will definitely be back." P.Z.,L.Z.&M.Z., Big Rapids, Michigan, USA (February 1, 2009)
