Farewell notes from our Guest Register
September 2008
  • "The word 'enjoy' doesn't begin to describe our stay here. This place is simply sublime -- magical! We felt like honored guests and have never experienced such hospitality even though we come from a place known for exceptional hospitality. Thank you so much for contributing to memories that will never be lost. We look forward to seeing you again." S.D.&A.D., Dallas, Texas, USA (September 28, 2008)

  • "We had a wonderful time! Everyone has been so helpful and kind. Your hospitality is greatly appreciated. We hope to come back soon!" J.H.&E.H., Maumelle, Arkansas, USA (September 27, 2008)

  • "We had a great time! Loved all the animals and great hospitalitiy. We will definitely be back with our kids in the future. We have never seen water so clear. Amazing!! We had the best time snorkling. Many, many thanks". J.D.&A.D., Gastonia, North Carolina, USA (September 27, 2008)

  • "A big THANK YOU to everyone here at Turtle Nest Inn, we have had a wonderful, relaxing and fun vacation here -- for the second year in a row! We loved everything, our same room from last year was cosy and inviting and very comfortable! The beach & snorkling out front, the kayak & the pool -- what more could you ask for?? Everyone's help in booking reservations and with suggestions was so helpful. Dinner at our favorite Lighthouse Resturant and new adventures this year snorkeling at Cemetary Beach, the Botantic Park, and much more. It is hard to leave heaven on earth. so we vow to return! Thank you again! P.S: We enjoyed your pets too, a friendly bunch!" L.E.&T.E., London, England, UK (September 27, 2008)

  • "Turtle Nest is wonderrful, even more than I expected. The first time I opened my door and looked down the breezeway to the sea, I thought, WOW! What more could you want, the sea, beautiful beach, great pool area, and at night the stars. And if you want to explore you can easily go in any direction. You'll find George Town, Rum Point, Pedro St. James, Mastic Trail, Mission House, Botanic Garden. It's all good. I'll try to keep the sound of the surf and the twinkle of the stars in my mind until I return." G.S., Arlington Heights, Illinois, USA (September 23, 2008)

  • "What a delightful place! The setting is just beautiful. We loved the pool, the snorkeling right out the back door and the people! Such courtesy, such friendliness & such hosptality. We spent most of our time exploring local sites & meeting the 'natives', swimming at out of the way swimming holes, snorkeling at beaches where there was not another soul. What a beautiful island with warm & friendly people. Thanks for everything at TNI, a PERFECT place to stay. Thank you!"  D.G.&L.S., Oak Island, North Carolina, USA (September 22, 2008)

  • "When we decided on a long weekend for our honeymoon, we had no idea how perfect this could be. We received a great package to stay at The Ritz. After scrolling through TripAdvisor.Com, we found the comments for Turtle Nest were more our speed. This has been an absolutely wonderful weekend & honeymoon. The hospitality is only matched by the beauty of TNI. I was unable to dive, but my husband went through Deep Blue Divers located at the Lobster Pot -- he loved it. We snorkeled right off the beach here, and we are certain it can't get any better. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! We will share this amazing place with only a few select friends. Warm regards..." M.C.&M.C., Charlotte, North Carolina, USA (September 22, 2008)

  • "I found TNI on Tripadvisor last year, but my husband insisted on Seven Mile Beach -- he now admits I was right . It has been a grand 2 weeks and we are already planning for next time -- it's like coming home. Everyone, Marleine, Alain, Donna, Paulette made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We would suggest going to Roland's Garden for dinner, it's an experience not to be missed! 4-5 courses, literally served in his garden, no menu, and you pay what you think the meal is worth. No kidding! As for snorkeling: Why pay $100, get herded aboard a ship, jostled underwater (whilst the scared fish swim away), when you can just step outside TNI and see just as much? Twice a day, if you like! Oh -- Chester's down the street has very good jerk pork & chicken. We liked Hurley's (supermarket) better than Foster's for variety & choice. Eats & Chicken! Chicken! also good. We have more adventures planned for next time!" L.M.&H.M., Shepherdsville, Kentucky, USA (September 21, 2008)

  • "Turtle Nest Inn is a place I will definitely return to with great anticipation! From the moment we arrived, Ashley and I  were amazed with not only the sunrise & hospitality, but also with the fact that we felt like we had found a bit of paradise right here on the south coast of Grand Cayman. Things to mention:  Food: #1. Calypso Grill and Fisherman's Reef Bar & Grill (West Bay). #2. Dirty Reids (in Bodden Town). Diving: #1 Deep Blue Divers (ask for Rick & Patrick, dive masters). Snorkeling: #1. walk straight out (from the Inn), put your mask on and witness the best on the island! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!! See you again soon." S.R.&A.R., Atlanta, Georgia, USA (September 20, 2008)

  • "There could not possiblly be any better place to stay than Turtle Nest. It was the perfect spot to snorkel, rest and relax. I can't wait to bring my boys back here. I would recommend this beatiful oasis to everyone I know. Thank you." D.R., Excelsior, Minnesota, USA (September 19, 2008)

  • "Have had a great time. Grand Cayman & Turtle Nest Inn far exceeded our expectations. It was a bit of a last minute decision to come and we were lucky that there was a vacancy. The accommodation, hotel and staff have all been spot on. Hope to come back next year." E.C.&M.E., Waterlooville, Hampshire, UK (September 17, 2008

  • "When I went online to choose the perfect place for my partner Kitra and I to spend our 10th anniversary way back in April, Turle Nest Inn was the second place I looked at. Something told me that this was the place, so I looked no further and booked our trip. We are so lucky I listened to that little voice! We have been to several places in the Caribbean and this is by far our favorite. Superb snorkeling, shell & seaglass collecting and moon gazing are but a few of the highlights that will bring us back here in the years to come. Marleine and Alain are so dear and so dedicated to providing their guests with a delightful and carefree retreat, it's no wonder this little piece of paradise is booked solid year-round. Donna, Sonia & Paulette were wonderful. Blackie, Vitamine and Calalloo were a perfect compliment to the TNI family. Special thanks to Vitamine for her daily visits which helped fill the void left by missing our two kitties at home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 'Partir c'est mourir un peu'. Will be back!"  B.P.&K.B., New York, New York, USA (September 15, 2008)

  • "Marleine, Alain, Donna, Paulette: Our stay was outstanding! You are gracious hosts! What a great week, we enjoyed snorkeling, the pool, and yes even 'Ike'. Despite the passing of Ike to the north (thank God!), the weather was very good -- nature at it's finest!! Everything is developing nicely since our last visit in April 2005. As always, we enjoyed the company of Blackie & Vitamine, such passionate pets. Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality, information, and insight regarding where to go & what to do on this wonderful island. Your attention to detail is outstanding. We will be back to visit again! Take care, stay safe." G.S.&N.S., Wilmington, Delaware, USA (September 13, 2008)

  • "Thank you for a very wonderful time, once again. We enjoyed the apartment, the snorkelling and the great sunrise veiws. Look forward to seeing you again!" L.P.&B.K., Berlin, Germany (September 11, 2008)
