Farewell notes from our Guest Register
December 2008
  • "Such a wonderfully non-wintery place to spend a few lovely winter days. And so concludes our 12th visit to Turtle Nest Inn -- with the assurance that this summer it'll be a 'baker's dozen'." E.M.&R.M., Emporia, Kansas, USA (December 28, 2008)

  • "Lovely vacation (holiday). Stingray City was the best excursion with Captain Peter on the 'Fat Fish Boat'. Happy New Year! The Kaufman Family." A.K.&J.K., Huntington, New York, USA (December 28, 2008)

  • "Veramente un bellissimo posto in modo familiae. Speramo di return presto il prossimo anno o natale." V.M.&G.V., Fara Gera D'adda (Milano), Italia (December 27, 2008)

  • "We are so glad we decided to spend our honeymoon at Turtle Nest Inn! This was our first trip to the island & we are already talking about retiring here! Thank you so much for making our stay here as wonderful as it was. Hopefully we'll see you again next year! All the best." C.C.&M.C., Columbus, Georgia, USA

  • "Dear Donna, Marleine, & Alain! Thank you so much for a wonderful Christmas week! The Inn is perfect, the setting is beautiful, and I could not have hoped for a better vacation! I have already told all of my familty how much I love it here, (threatened to stay permanently!), and told them how much they would like it. With any luck, I'll be back again next year -- or sooner! Thank you again for your welcome and hospitality! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!" L.C., Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA (December 27, 2008)

  • "This was a wonderful experience. Turtle Nest Inn ws accomodating to all of my needs. They were knowledegable of the Grand Cayman island resources. The apartment was relaxing. I hope to return in the future." J.S., Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA (December 27, 2008)

  • "This truly was a jewel! We  stayed here to celebrate my birthday and the first time travelling without kids. And we couldn't have been happier. My sweetest memory is walking through the lobby and seeing Blackie, the kitties and Marleine's smiling face, and then walking out to the beautiful pool & ocean. What a blessing this has been for us!" K.A.&K.A., Mankato, Minnesota, USA (December 21, 2008)

  • "My husband and I stayed in #4 for a week and it couldn't have been more perfect -- great location, all the amenities we needed and all the advice we could use to make for the perfect island getaway! Donna and Marleine made lots of helpful recommendations. Make sure to ask for her help before you go anywhere. Thanks to Turtle Nest Inn for a very wonderful 'winter' holiday! Merry Christmas!! Best..." M.S.&B.S., San Diego, California, USA (December 20, 2008)

  • "Donna, Marleine and Alain made our stay so wonderful. Our vacation couldn't have been easier or more injoyable. Our hats off to Turtle Nest Inn. Thank you for all the snorkeling advice and restaurant recommendations. We'll be back as soon as we can! Cheers..." D.B.&D.B., Oak Park, Illinois, USA (December 20, 2008)

  • "There are no superlatives left to describe Turtle Nest Inn and it's staff -- it's all been said and we heartily endorse it all. We've had the best week and wish it had been at least two. Only disappointment -- we thought Vitamine loved only us but now we find she has been liberal with her favours! We would love to come again and will certainly recommend TNI to all our friends. Thank you for a really great experience. Best wishes..." A.K.&B.K., Houston, Texas, USA (December 20, 2008)

  • "From a forner travel agent: Friendly folks, authentically so I even get a little lesson in French. Quiet & relaxing. Perfect location. Gorgeous beach & water. a little windy for kayaking and some times snorkeling, but no real disappointment. For our $$ best on island. Thanks for great amenities too."  D.B.&S.B., Leetsdale, Pennsylvania, USA (December 18, 2008)

  • "Had a nice, RELAXING time here at Turtle Nest. Just what I needed! It's a quiet, clean, beautiful, & well-run inn. Had reservations about traveling here alone, but I had no reason to worry about it, you made me feel welcome & comfortable. Special THANX to my friend Ms. Donna Summer, you're such a nice, caring lady. Hope to see you again sometime. All the best." G.S., Beachwood, New Jersey, USA (December 14, 2009)

  • "We were so excited to be spending our second 'Pryse Family Christmas Vacation' here at Turtle Nest Inn and we are so sad to be leaving. The week just flew by! Everything was just as we remembered. The snorkeling in front of the Inn was incredible. We saw a herd of tarpin, 18 to be exact; barracuda, rays, and assorted colorful fish playing hide & seek in the coral. We loved the calm, quiet, and relaxed atmosphere the inn provides. We enjoyed Alain's company sharing travel stories along with a perfect bottle of wine. We did miss Marleine though and hope to see more of her next time. Donna & Paulette helped fill our every need and we thank them for taking such good care of us. We enjoyed Blackie, Beatrice & Callaloo (hope she finds her collar & tag) but most of all the lovable Vitamine. She visited us every day for head-butting, petting & naps. She must have known that we all were missing our cats at home. Very wise kitty! Thank you all for helping to 'recharge our batteries' as we head back to our hectic lives. Merry Christmas & Happy 2009! The Pryse Family. P.S: The lending library (books & videos) is such a nice touch! We made good use of it." W.P.,C.P.,B.P.,K.P.,&N.P., Southport, North Carolina, USA (December 14, 2008)

  • "This is one of the best resorts we have stayed at, bar none, and the best in terms of hospitality. The rooms were squeaky clean, amenities we would have to rent at any other resort were provided gratis (snorkelling, wireless Internet, cable channels/DVD), and most of all, Donna and  the rest of the staff made special efforts to accommodate us. For a more relaxed, local experience, choose Turtle Nest over Seven Mile!" C.H.&B.H., Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA (December 13, 2008)

  • "For shallow reef snorkeling -- Bodden Town reefs are the best! For quiet, ambience and first class attention to details -- Turtle Nest is the best! As an added bonus -- too far away from GT for obnoxious tourists! Hooray! This Inn is a truly exceptional place!" A.S.&B.S., Sanibel Island, Florida, USA (December 13, 2008)

  • "A great stay! Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, friendly & helpful staff, and good snorkeling just offshore. All was quiet & relaxing!" L.K.&A.K., Gdynia, Poland (December 12, 2008)

  • "We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the side porch. Everyone was so friendly, we will be back!" K.W.&B.W., The Woodlands, Texas, USA (December 11, 2008)

  • "Everything people say below is true! We have had a wonderful holiday in a great location on the island. It was great to go snorkeling right in front of the inn; the staff have been friendly and helpful in every circumstance. Thanks very much." A.T.&S.T., London, England, UK (December 10, 2008)

  • "WOW! What a wonderful destination. The accomodations were top notch. The service excellent. Perhaps the best island location that we have visited. We will return. God Bless." C.E.&J.E., Malvern, Pennsylvania, USA (December 8, 2008)

  • "It was either our 7th or 8th trip here, but will not be our last! Our desired result of feeling totally relaxed and contented was achieved. And most of all, we treasured seeing all of our wonderful friends at the Inn. We look forward to visiting again soon." R.F.&B.F., Winthrop, Massachusetts, USA
